About the Role
As the Sales Development Representative (SDR) Manager, you will lead the outbound SDR team, oversee their activities, and drive the company's sales development strategies. You will be an integral part of the marketing leadership team and continuously mentor our SDRs. You will also work closely with other leaders in sales, marketing, sales operations, marketing operations, and sales enablement to drive the strategy for the sales development team.

What your success will look like
- Support our team culture by working in the office 4 -5 days a week. This means you’ll have to live within commuting distance of the office you’ll be working in.
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to maximize the performance of the outbound SDR teams.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the SDR teams.
- Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to align the SDR strategies with the company's overall objectives.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the SDR team, ensuring their continuous growth and development; develop and identify training opportunities for SDR teams
- Collaborate with the marketing operations and revenue operations teams to optimize lead generation and qualification processes.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for business growth.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the SDR teams to promote a results-driven and motivated work environment.
- Prepare regular reports to communicate the performance and progress
- Monitor and refine processes, metrics, and tools to maximize success of the SDR teams
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual pipeline and revenue targets
- Report on pipeline-building metrics and forecast
- Motivate individuals and team to exceed objectives through coaching and mentorship
- Provide insightful feedback from prospect conversations to product, sales and marketing leadership
Who you are and what you bring
- 6+ years of experience in Sales Development Representative roles within the digital marketing or technology industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and leading SDR teams for at least 3+ years.
- Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles, with a focus on lead generation and qualification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of the challenges our prospects face on a daily basis
- History of over-performance against quotas
- Direct experience as an SDR preferred
- Experience with Salesforce, ChiliPiper, CallRail, Drift preferred
- Experience in home services or legal preferred

Compensation
We acknowledge that states have passed legislation promoting pay transparency. As a national employer, Scorpion has made the decision to post our expected pay rate or pay range (as applicable) in all our job postings, regardless of geographic location.
- The base salary is $100,000(entry-level) - 120,000 (highly experienced). The base salary + annual variable for this position is $145,000 (entry-level) - $175,000(highly experienced), exclusive of fringe benefits. If you are hired at Scorpion, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the total salary + annual variable range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
Our Interview Process
We aim to make the interview process efficient, informative, and transparent. Here’s what to expect:
- Initial Phone Screen: 30-minute conversation with a recruiter to learn more about you and share insights about the role.
- Sales Assessment: A quick online assessment (less than 25 minutes) to help us understand your sales approach and skills.
- First Interview: 30-45 minute Zoom meeting with the hiring manager to discuss your experience and potential fit.
- Second Interview: 60-minute in-person panel interview with the sales management team.
