Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring a Sales Development Representative to join our +Oscar team.

About the role
As a Sales Development Representative, you will support lead generation and acquisition for +Oscar, Oscar's tech-driven platform business. You will play a crucial role in driving the sales efforts by identifying and qualifying potential leads. Additionally, you will be the first point of contact for prospects, responsible for generating interest and setting up meetings for our sales team.
You will report to the Senior Manager of Sales Operations, +Oscar.

If you live within commutable distance to our New York City office (in Hudson Square), our Tempe office (off the 101 at University Dr), or our Los Angeles office (in Marina Del Rey), you will be expected to come into the office at least two days each week. Pay Transparency:
The base pay for this role is: $66,400- $87,150 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program and sales commissions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research to identify potential leads and target accounts.
- Reach out to prospects via phone calls, emails, and social media.
- Qualify leads by understanding their needs and determining their potential fit with our products/services.
- Schedule meetings or demos for the sales team with qualified leads.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align on lead generation strategies and campaigns.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions in the CRM system.
- Represent our product in the market at events / conferences as needed, which may take place during evening and/or weekend hours.
- Continuously improve sales skills and product knowledge through training and feedback.
- Identify areas where we can improve tools and processes.
- Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of healthcare industry experience in a sales role or sales organization
- 2+ years of experience presenting and communicating with stakeholders at all levels
Bonus Points
- Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of relevant experience.
- Prior work experience in a start up or healthcare technology company preferred.
- Proficient in Salesforce.

Pay Transparency: Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
