Capvision is currently looking for an SDR to assist with their continued rapid expansion into the Americas and EMEA regions.

In this role, you will work with the Business Development team to identify, qualify, and build meaningful relationships with prospective clients around the world. Our Business Development team is responsible for identifying Capvision users within new and existing accounts, as well as growing the relationship alongside our research team. This person will join a growing team that works with some of the largest investment management firms and consultancies in the world, helping to discover our client’s business initiatives and acting as the Capvision advocate.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate Capvision’s value proposition across our entire universe of research services
  • Grow and track existing accounts to identify additional opportunities such as new users and up-selling opportunities
  • Lead generation; Connect with prospects through strong written and verbal communication
  • Assist Sales Team with user acquisition and prospecting strategies
  • General sales coordination and support 

Who You Are:

  • Familiar with selling directly or indirectly in a competitive landscape
  • Experience gained through work or internships in a professional client facing environment, such as financial institutions, including but not limited to Hedge Funds, PE Firms, Asset Managers, and Consulting Firms
  • Excellent customer service skills. Efficient written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrable ability to learn quickly and adapt to a growing, fast-paced working environment
  • Positive, motivated, goal-oriented attitudes and mentalities and can be successful both as an individual and as part of a team

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a top institution, ideally in finance, business, sales, or marketing
  • 0-2 years of sales experience (recent graduates encouraged to apply)
  • Hustle, energetic, highly motivated, and results-driven, with a proactive attitude
  • Confidence and eagerness to engage potential clients through outbound calls to drive interest
  • Exceptional communication skills, combined with a goal-oriented mindset for effective lead generation
  • Familiar with sales tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Navigator, and Pitchbook
  • Eligible to work in the US, including F-1 visa holders with Optional Practical Training (OPT) status of 3 years.
