Job Description:

Axle Informatics is seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive pipeline growth for our newly formed life sciences sales team. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to launch or advance their career in life sciences sales, working in a dynamic, fast-paced commercial environment. SDRs play a critical role in lead generation, ensuring high-value prospects are identified, engaged, and transitioned to Account Executives for conversion. 

 Responsibilities:

  • Conduct high-impact outreach through cold calls, personalized emails, and LinkedIn to establish meaningful connections. 
  • Lead discovery conversations to evaluate prospect needs, business challenges, and alignment with company solutions. 
  • Arrange high-value calls and demos with Account Executives (AEs) to move prospects through the sales funnel. 
  • Keep accurate records of prospect interactions, ensuring clean data and actionable insights within CRM system 
  • Align messaging and refining lead qualification criteria to improve MQL-to-SQL conversion rates. 
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive insights, and scientific advancements to refine prospective strategies and deepen market expertise. 
  • Leverage social media and automation platforms to enhance outreach efficiency and targeting. 
  • Use AI-driven insights and industry data to pinpoint high-potential biotech and pharma companies. 

 Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical or business field 
  • 1-3 years of experience in B2B sales, SDR, or business development, preferably within biotech, pharma, or life sciences. 
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a consultative, problem-solving mindset. 
  • Ability to understand and articulate complex scientific solutions, translating them into compelling value propositions for potential customers. 
  • High comfort level with outbound prospecting, including cold outreach, high-volume engagement, and lead nurturing. 
  • Experience using CRM tools to manage pipeline, track outreach, and analyze data. 
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, thriving in a target-driven environment with a strong sense of ownership.

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
