POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sales Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the resorts reservations and meeting sales department by managing guest reservations, maintaining precise records and facilitating seamless communication between departments to enhance the overall guest/client experience. This position requires exceptional customer service and communication skills, as well as the ability to assist with group bookings, billing processes and administrative support to ensure smooth operations internally and high guest satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Handles guest reservations and inquiries
- Serves as a liaison between departments and resort leadership
- Maintains organized records and databases of bookings
- Answers calls and provide customer support
- Assists with group reservations and billing processes
- Ensures compliance with resort policies and service standards
- Collaborates with Sales, Banquets, and Group Rooms departments
- Performs additional administrative tasks as needed
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.

- Seldom/Never
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Regularly sits, and does computer work.
Occasionally walks, and stands.
Seldom/Never lifts up to 50 lbs.
INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:
Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.
