WCSH Portland and WLBZ Bangor, the NBC affiliates in Maine are seeking a Sales Coordinator. This position manages day-to-day responsibilities of assigned accounts and team members, including Copy, Traffic and Continuity. The role is designed to provide an optimal customer experience and drive sales by providing customer support and aligning the company’s multimedia solutions with our customers’ marketing objectives. Responsibilities:

• The Sales Coordinator at TEGNA, Inc. plays a crucial role on the Traffic team by executing traffic best practices and managing commercial input for local and national sales orders
• This position involves working closely with Sales Management and Account Executives to ensure the proper airing of commercials, as well as providing support and assistance to Tegna’s Stream Center
• Provide backup and assistance to continuity coordinators in designated traffic center when necessary
• Manage commercial input and order entry for stations utilizing the WideOrbit traffic system
• Work with Sales Management and Account Executives on WideOrbit systems to ensure proper commercials are on air for a wide range of Advertising Clients
• Liaison with Sales Team and Station Programming
• Assist Traffic Team and Technical Leads in system upgrades
• Maintain a clean database of accounts, including accurate billing addresses and other records, timely make-good offers, assisting with accounts receivable and overall customer service.
• Daily interaction with agency and direct clients; including maintenance of client schedules on television and online, plus special projects and promotions.
• Make decisions and solve problems independently to support the customer.

Requirements:
• High school diploma required (Associate’s degree preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• 2+ years of experience working with Traffic Systems (preferably WideOrbit) preferred
• Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment with regular deadlines
• High energy and self-motivated
• Ability to multitask, manage and follow through on multiple projects, prioritize duties, and handle a high-volume workload
