This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way with Signify. As a Sales Apprentice, you will support the OEM commercial operations team by proactively managing the incoming sales mailbox and phone calls.

More about the role
During your 3 year apprenticeship, you will have the opportunity to:

Build experience and knowledge in lighting across sales and technical disciplines.

Engage with and learn from a wide range of stakeholders across the technical, commercial and operations teams within Signify.

Support the OEM commercial operations team by proactively managing the incoming sales mailbox and phone calls. Delighting customers by reacting quickly to incoming requests.

Support the OEM technical team by managing commercial and technical bulletins and 1st line technical support.

Support the OEM sales team by carrying out market research, analysis of customer profiles and trends.

Actively engage with new customers and generate new business opportunities.

Be the first point of contact for allocated accounts.

Deliver commercial sales targets.

Attend industry events and functions.
More about you
While we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening:

Strong GCSE results /BTEC attainment or/and at least a C / 4 in Mathematics and English.

Study of Technical or Engineering subjects is ideal for this role. Study of Business could also be possible.

Interested and/or eager to learn about Sales.

Previous experience working closely with Customers is a nice to have, but not a must. You can learn with us!

Previous experience working with Microsoft Office programs (particularly Excel, Word and PPt).

Attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.

Ability to prioritize responsibilities, meet deadlines and undertake various administrative tasks.

Able to communicate with people at all levels in a professional and mature manner.

Passionate, energetic and eager to learn and develop your career.

Aged 18 plus.

Resident in England. This position is based in Guildford, Surrey.

Willingness to travel within the UK.

Most of our Apprentices are offered a role at Signify having successfully demonstrated the appropriate skills and behaviour for effective performance. Alternatively, there are opportunities for Higher-Level Apprenticeships which can be topped up further to full degree level.
