JOB TITLE: Sales and Recruiting Director

REPORTS TO: Sr. Director
SUMMARY
The Sales and Recruiting Director will manage a team of sales and recruiting professionals within their assigned profit center to achieve bookings and margin objectives. They will execute sales strategies, coaching and developing the sales team to drive sales performance overall for their profit center.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Drive team to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales expectations.
• Develop and implement effective business strategies to drive growth, profitability, and market share.
• Collaborate with Sr. Director and/or Vice President in the development of performance goals and long-term development plans for individual contributors; execute those specific goals and plans.
• Coach, train and develop sales staff as well as participate in identifying top talent and recruiting them to join the organization.
• Report quarterly business results and forecasts to leadership
• Identify future leadership talent in individual contributors and develop skillset needed to progress.
• Hold staff accountable to performance expectations, following progressive correction steps when necessary.
• Demonstrate the ability to communicate, present material and information to others, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Interact with clients and providers as needed to ensure their needs are met in balance with company resources; negotiate and approve contracts.
• Plan and participate in approved conferences, company and customer sponsored events
• Partner with operations leadership to create alignment between sales and operations team to ensure world class experience for internal and external customers.
• Build trust, value others, drive execution, foster innovation, focus on the customer, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity.
• Coordinates with marketing to maximize marketing resources to generate provider and client leads and maintain ROI.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented with the team.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Proven track record in driving sales/recruiting process results from start to finish
• Must possess a verifiable track record of accomplishment in sales and recruiting as measured by revenue and gross profit growth, new customer acquisition, existing account retention and growth
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalency in work experience or education required
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a sales leadership role (with at least 4 or more direct reports) in the staffing industry, locum staffing is preferred
• Ability to develop teams and work effectively in team environments
• Strong leadership skills, initiative and creativity with the ability to identify and convey successful techniques and approaches
• Demonstrates strong decision-making skills, ability to prioritize even with several competing demands
• Demonstrates ability to deal with ambiguity as well as ability to act with minimal supervision or direction; be resourceful and proactively seek out information and resources
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, follow-up, negotiation, and closing skills. Strong emphasis on listening skills
• Cooperative, team-oriented, patient, calm under pressure
• Ability to demonstrate success working in a fast-paced, highly competitive, deadline-oriented environment
• Demonstrates strong professional ethics, core values and business acumen
• Salesforce or Target Recruit experience is preferred
• Ability to travel to various locations (e.g., customer sites, other company offices) as needed
