Overview
Based onsite in either our Chicago or Schweinfurt location, the S&OP Manager has direct oversight and responsibility over the Sales and Operations Planning process and team. The manager will drive the creation, documentation, and implementation of processes to improve supply chain and manufacturing efficiencies. Lead assessments, implementation and usage of S&OP tools and serve as SRAM S&OP trainer and ambassador for the overall S&OP process. Drive to industry best on time in full order fulfillment metrics with optimized inventory and efficiencies.
Responsibilities

  • Coach and develop S&OP Team of demand planners and supply planners.
  • Lead the development and improvement of S&OP processes that drive supply chain and manufacturing operation efficiencies, and escalate exceptions quickly
  • Enable monthly recurring forecast updates with Sales and long-term capacity reviews with factory management and EVS leaders
  • Lead monthly Operating reviews working towards awareness and alignment between functions, document and track progress of countermeasures
  • Maintain dashboards and reports that make visible the state of S&OP, operating plans, and impacts on SRAM's financial plan
  • Monitor forecast and supply guardrails aimed at maintaining customer lead-time targets and order fulfillment targets
  • Support inventory planning at distribution centers ensuring processes and procedures yield optimal inventory turns, and targeted customer service levels
  • Support annual financial planning process


Qualifications

  • Demonstrated Forecasting, Capacity Planning, S&OP experience
  • Ability to tie demand and supply together with analytics, performance measures, and KPI's
  • Experience working in SAP and advanced skill set with MS Excel required
  • Continuous improvement mindset and approach to understanding demand and process
  • Experience in consumer goods or outdoor industry and inventory management a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
  • Responsibility for managing spend within prescribed budget
  • Responsibility for forecasting >$1B in sales
  • Ability to travel 10-15% of the time, including internationally
  • Flexibility to attend meetings outside regular business hours

This position is eligible for an annual corporate bonus based on company and individual performance.
