Collaboration With Intent

SRAM’s engineering team is global, so intentional collaboration is invaluable. A daily sync keeps everyone updated on projects and abreast of what individuals are working on. Monthly meetings allow team members to discuss what’s going well, what could be improved and offer suggestions. Meetings are typically held in the morning to accommodate time differences, which leaves afternoons open for work. “I might spend that time intently coding, debugging a test system in the lab or helping a coworker with a task,” Software Engineer Chantal Danyluk said. When meetings end, the group collaborates over Slack and Teams to ask and answer questions.
