Summary of This Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sales Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will use their expertise in data analysis to provide actionable insights that drive sales performance, optimize processes, and support strategic decision-making. This role involves analyzing complex datasets, identifying trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance overall business outcomes. Your main goal is to bring to life metrics related to our sales process to help develop strategies that improve sales productivity at TSYS.
What Part Will You Play?

Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor sales performance metrics.

Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress.

Provide data-driven recommendations to improve sales strategies and forecasting accuracy.

Perform customer segmentation and profiling to assist in targeted marketing and sales campaigns.

Work with large datasets using tools such as Excel, SQL, or Python, ensuring accuracy and integrity.

Conduct competitive analysis to benchmark sales performance and market positioning.

Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in sales analytics.

Evaluate performance to monthly and annual sales goals, quotas, and forecast

Proactively monitor sales data looking for trends, anomalies, and other insights

Maintain product whitespace and penetration dashboards

Build standard price sheet tool kit for sales teams to use in building proformas

Working Hybrid out of either Columbus, GA, Atlanta, GA or Alpharetta, GA offices.

$60,000 - $75,000
The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
What Are We Looking For in This Role?
Qualifications:

Typically 4 years of experience
-
A bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field or, experience in lieu of a degree will be considered

Proven experience as a Sales Data Analyst or in a similar role

Proficiency in data analysis tools (eg. Excel, Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Python)

Understanding of sales processes and CRM platforms (eg. Salesforce)

Strong analytical and problem solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills:

Experience in predictive modeling and forecasting.

Knowledge of statistical methodologies and their application to sales data.

Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools.
