ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Comply with Company Safety Policies and Procedures
  • Regular attendance, timeliness, and scheduling flexibility
  • Ability to develop key relationships with regional and divisional level decision makers with national builders
  • Serve as the main point of contact in all matters related to client concerns and needs
  • Build and strengthen client relationships to achieve long-term partnerships 
  • Maintain accurate client records, keeping builders up to date on current contracts/rebates
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to better upsell and cross-sell to clients

Responsibilities

  • Handle inquiries and requests from customers and address their needs
  • Self-driven, motivated to win and capable of selling premium products on value vs. pricing
  • Stay on top of accounts, making sure they receive services that are within their budget and meet their needs
  • Meet regularly with other team members to discuss progress and find new ways to improve business
  • Generate progress reports for clients and direct manager within the organization
  • Identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities and communicate with the sales team regularly

Required skills and qualifications

  • Travel 50%
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Preferred location of residence Western US
  • Ability to negotiate pricing with builders in multiple markets
  • Project management skills
  • Cross sell multiple product lines, Stone and Roofing
  • Analytical, financial and data driven
  • Office suite proficient
  • Ability to multitask and juggle several responsibilities simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas and receiving positive customer feedback
  • Proficiency with common customer success and customer relationship management software, such as Gainsight and Salesforce
  • Professional certification (ex: from Strategic Account Management Association)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US markets. The base pay range for this position is $ 87,000 to $123,000. This range is based on relevant market data in our lowest and highest geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, experience and skillset. Westlake is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, sign on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package (also to include a full range of medical and other benefits).
