About the Position
FiscalNote Europe is looking for a Brussels-based Sales Executive to support the EU Issues Tracker BD team. Sales Executives are FiscalNote’s key engine of market expansion and revenue growth. Focused on our customer's long term goals, they become true strategic partners through deep empathy in order to develop our economic relationship with new customers. Able to understand true pain points and customer needs, Sales Executives guide C-level conversations about how organizations can truly integrate and accelerate the integration of high-level government and business strategy. They exhibit a bias for action, a thirst for knowledge, and a true executive mindset.

The Business Development Team at FiscalNote Europe is a fast growing team, expanding FiscalNote’s client base across Europe. They are the key touchpoint for our client-focused approach. About You
You are a seasoned professional, equipped with the core ingredients to excel in sales, and a keen interest in EU politics and policy. Your professional success stems from your determination and competitive nature, but above all you thrive in a highly collaborative environment. You are good at identifying potential business opportunities under your territory, and quick to translate those insights into a plan of action. Your eagerness to understand and solve client challenges enables you to give a demo presentation that is well-prepared and tailored to their needs. You are known to always present yourself with a friendly and professional demeanor, and you do not shy away from asking the right questions. You have a healthy dose of intellectual curiosity, a keen enthusiasm to learn more about EU affairs and/or (ideally) good knowledge of EU politics and policy.

What Sets You Apart
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent (Ideally in European Politics or international relations)
- 3-5+ years of B2B software or information services sales
- Consultative approach to solutions selling
- Demonstrated success hitting or exceeding quota
- Experience pairing professional services with software
- Experience using Salesforce
- Knowledge about European / International politics and policy and/or a strong eagerness to deepen your knowledge on the subject
- Previous experience in the EU bubble, public affairs, and/or EU institutions a definite plus
- Fluency in English is required, additional language skills are a definite plus
