The Sage Intacct Implementation Manager is responsible for working within the Accounting Advisory Services (AAS) practice to design, develop and implement Sage Intacct for our customers.  In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Sage Intacct to execute implementations, streamline accounting operations, and support both customer and team member success. The ideal candidate thrives in a client-facing environment, has a deep understanding of accounting processes, and has a builder mindset, proactively designing processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Proven track record to implement end to end new SAGE Intacct instances and Intuit (QBD & QBO) conversions to Intacct, including systems configuration, integrations, and data migration.
  • Build advanced reports and dashboards for customers leveraging Sage Intacct’s reporting tools: Dashboards, Financial Report Writer, Financial Graphs, Custom Report Writer, Interactive Custom Report Writer, and Interactive Visual Explorer.
  • Design and build internal CAAS practice processes from the ground up for scoping, pricing, and executing Sage Intacct implementations, ensuring a scalable, efficient, and standardized approach.
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of customers, providing oversight to stakeholders regarding quality, timeliness, and customer experience.
    • Includes anticipating issues/complications, aligning expectations with customer and customer service team as it relates to project scope, timeline, budget, prioritization, and meeting deadlines through project completion.
  • Understand of customers’ needs in Sage Intacct, proactively gathering information to learn about their requirements and expectations, particularly during the sales cycle.
  • Coordinate data extraction from various databases and/or legacy systems for importing, and provide technical assistance and advice.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical or functional issues that may arise during implementation, and train others on the most efficient and effective implementation techniques.
  • Support customers in post-implementation activities, address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide ongoing guidance to optimize their use of Sage Intacct.
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in Sage Intacct and proactively advise stakeholders on potential benefits and updates through webinars and other communications.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and timely documentation of implementation processes, configurations, and support activities, and assisting the Practice with developments and enhancements to these processes.
  • Support and collaborate on business development efforts as subject matter expert in Sage Intacct.
  • Other duties as assigned within the scope of practice.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience executing Sage Intacct accounting system implementations and conversions
  • Evidence of completing at least 15 full cycle Sage Intacct implementation projects including data migrations and relevant configurations
  • Evidence of successful completion of other Sage Intacct courses (i.e., Projects, Inventory, Non-Profit Reporting and Dashboards, ICRW, etc.)
  • Experience and comfort scoping project needs, pricing for setup/data migration, and timeline
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related business technology field
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly in setting expectations
  • Passion for developing team members
  • Experience connecting business systems to each other
  • Implementation Certified SAGE Intacct Accounting Specialist
  • Certified SAGE Intacct Accounting Specialist
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in other Sage Intacct platform integrations
  • Experience in QBO, QBD, NetSuite, BILL, FP&A tools
  • CPA
  • Prior CPA firm experience
