What You’ll Do:

As a Software Engineering Intern at Rubrik, you will work on challenging problems in one or more areas of the Rubrik product. 

Intern projects have included implementing a Machine Learning model, enhancing internal tools for the engineering team, developing new security features for Rubrik products, researching new technologies, and much more!  Check out our engineering blog to learn more about what our engineers are working on and to see where you could fit in.

Basic Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field.

• Graduating in December 2025 or Spring 2026.

• Experience coding in an industry-standard language (e.g. Java, Go, Python, C++, Objective-C, JavaScript).

• Exposure to algorithms, data structures, and core computer science concepts (operating systems, concurrency, distributed systems, etc.).

• Available to work full-time for a 12-week program in Palo Alto, CA.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated software engineering experience from a previous internship, work experience, coding competitions, or publications.

The minimum and maximum hourly salaries for this role are $50-$60/hour. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the role based on U.S. location. Within the range, the salary offered will be determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
