We’re looking for a motivated Robotic Integration Engineer (m/f/d) to join one of our clients and develop its engineering strategies.
In your day-to-day work, you’ll focus on streamlining the design, development, and testing of cutting-edge software solutions for robotic systems and have the opportunity to contribute to various projects. Our client is a German dual-use technology company spearheading automation with unmanned ground vehicles across both governmental and civilian sectors. In this role, you’ll:
- Design, develop, and maintain software for robotic systems
- Integrate sensors and hardware interfaces seamlessly with robotic technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate innovative robotics solutions into existing systems
- Conduct thorough testing and validation to ensure reliability, efficiency, and compliance
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues both onsite and remotely
- Document software designs, development processes, and system configurations clearly
- Optimize system architectures to support evolving technologies
Your Profile
- Practical experience in integrating sensors and hardware interfaces with robotic systems
- Proficiency in C++ and ROS (Robot Operating System), with familiarity in using version control (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., CAN, Ethernet, serial) and networking protocols (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, etc.)
- Experience with software development tools and methodologies
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles in robotics and IoT is a plus
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field
- Excellent communication skills in English is a must; additional language skills are a plus
Please note that we are looking for support in the London office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
