Position Summary

Coordinates prompt resolution of equipment breakdowns outside internal maintenance facilities by fielding calls, documenting events, dispatching service providers, and processing invoices. Provides support to drivers during critical breakdowns, focusing on maximizing equipment utilization and minimizing costs.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Responds promptly to all emergency roadside assistance requests related to tires, mechanical issues, and equipment through phone and email, ensuring a professional resolution.
  • Supports drivers during the breakdown process and addresses any concerns.
  • Coordinates accurate and timely dispatch of service providers for emergency breakdowns, optimizing response times.
  • Assesses and prioritizes incoming requests based on urgency to ensure optimal workflow management.
  • Acts as a liaison between vendors and internal departments to ensure effective collaboration.
  • Monitors repair processes from the initial call to completion and provides timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Reviews and approves repair estimates to ensure alignment with company standards and budgets.
  • Audits vendor invoices and approves payments in line with service agreements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics or a related field.
  • 2+ years of transportation, logistics, dispatch, or related experience.
  • Knowledge of general automotive and heavy-duty maintenance concepts and call center environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
