Responsibilities
The role of the Senior Digital Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget, while acting like a digital expert and offering support for the entire Digital team. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Senior Digital Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.
- Deliver consistently flawless projects within schedules set out by Account Managers, Account Directors and our clients
- Be an internal source of expertise in the digital field and respond swiftly and concisely to any questions or queries
- Support the digital production operators (digital designers and developers) through regular performance review and feedback to guide their progress within the company
- Instill and support a high level of attention to detail at each stage of the production process supporting our quality control procedures
- Attend internal meetings as a representative of the Digital production team as and when required
- Ensure that briefs received are of a standard that will allow the digital team to carry out work to the best of our ability
- Add value to received briefs by ensuring the are clear and understandable by both operators and managers
- Create and share any documents required to simplify and standardize the work of the digital team
- Work hand in hand with the Production Teams (Creative and Development) to ensure their departments are adequately resourced and deadlines are met
- Manage and optimize internal workflow to ensure/increase productivity
- Take full responsibility for the success of the digital projects
- Responsible for overseeing the development process of several materials across different markets
- Responsible for scoping, building, and timely delivery management of campaign development projects on display ads, web pages, responsive pages, emails/EDMs, landing pages and templates, multimedia, and GUIs; and provide support on web/mobile application development projects
- Foresee any project issues/ questions or internal resourcing issues before they arise
- Manage accuracy and timeliness of the invoicing process
- Report to the line manager and client on a daily basis
Requirements
- Solid digital project management background with at least 5 years experience
- Experience on managing account manager/project manager teams
- Ability to juggle and balance multiple projects
- Hands on experience in end-to-end project management
- Basic HTML/CSS/JS skills, .net & php knowledge is a plus (Hygraph, Drupal, Magento, Umbraco, Strapi, AEM, Sitecore)
- Detail-oriented, passionate and motivated to learn and grow
- Pragmatic, team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter
- Positive ‘can do’ attitude
- The ability to function productively under pressure
- English – Advanced Level
- Passion for and understanding of internet technologies is as must
