Job Purpose:  

To oversee and manage end to end processes within the CVR department, provide training and maintain visual records. To ensure the department can meet SLA’s, operational and financial performance targets and ensure customer satisfaction on a consistent basis. To provide super user support for the entire site.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement new processes, and improve existing processes, for the Returns department, in line with the continuously changing business outlook.
  • Provide initial and on-going training to individuals to ensure they meet performance standards. To carry out initial induction procedures to ensure new starters can be integrated quickly into the team.
  • Create and maintain process maps, flow charts, training records and the skill matrix for the Returns department.
  • Own stock accuracy within the returns environment.
  • Liaising with Manager and Supervisor to ensure that the department perform to the best standard at all times.
  • Provide guidance and support to team to ensure swift resolution to vendor and customer issues. (Internal & External).
  • Identify opportunities for improvements in processes to raise standards of performance on an on-going basis.
  • To ensure all team members are continually working to company health and safety standards, assisting with accident reviews and carrying out regular workplace inspections.
  • To maintain company housekeeping standards through daily monitoring and taking appropriate corrective action.
  • To work with managers to ensure the SLAs and individual targets are achieved.
  • To provide ongoing support with the resolution of the ASM queries.
  • To imbed the company values into team members through reinforcement of behaviour both individually and with the team.
  • To supply support to other departments in the warehouse depending on changing workloads.
  • To rotate accountabilities with fellow super users as and when required and thus promote a positive example of cross functionality, adaptability and willingness for personal and departmental development.
  • To support in new project opportunities from an IT perspective
  • Help support after sales team, working with customer services

Knowledge Skills and Experience:

  • Candidate needs to have a drive for progression and team development.  Exciting opportunity to develop processes from the ground up.
  • Advance IT knowledge, SAP(WMS) experience a bonus but training is offered
  • Good internal and external people skills and relationship building
  • Analytical thinking with good problem solving skills
  • Understanding of change management principles
  • Experience within Logistic and in particular the returns department
  • Excellent training skills, presentation skills
  • Flexibility to change shift and work weekend when the business needs
  • Ability to influence and coach
  • An enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment.
  • Strong internal and external customer service focus.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word) and SAP
