Your role in the Team’s Success
You will join the Risk team within the Risk and Compliance department in IG Europe GmbH. This dynamic team provides comprehensive risk assessments, integrating risk analysis with a diligent and thoughtful approach to business partnering and reporting.
You will proactively identify and address potential risks before they materialise. A significant aspect of the role involves formulating strategic recommendations for senior management, supported by robust analysis and data-driven insights.
What you’ll do

Be accountable for the regulatory reporting, in particular according to IFR

Improve management of market, credit, and operational risk (incl. RCSA) through process improvements and deep dives to meet growing regulatory expectations

Improve controls and oversight of regulatory changes with risk and regulatory reporting impact

Point of contact for the external and internal audits for the areas of responsibility

Support projects and initiatives to implement and develop the enterprise risk management
-
Contribute to the local ICAAP
-
Improving Board reporting and MI
-

What you’ll need for this role
Key Qualification Requirements:

At least 2 years of experience in Financial Services, preferably in Risk, though experience in Consultancy or Audit will also be considered.

Strong interest in managing Risk, with a proactive and independent approach to identifying and addressing potential issues.

Experience dealing with Local Regulators and solid understanding of MaRisk and ICAAP requirements.

Ability to formulate well-supported recommendations based on thorough analysis, with a track record of being able to justify these recommendations with solid evidence.

Proven ability to challenge existing processes and identify opportunities to enhance value and efficiency.

Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills, with a knack for thinking outside the box and connecting disparate pieces of information.

Experience in driving initiatives and supporting projects.

Undergraduate degree in a numerical subject, such as Finance or Economics.

Fluent in both oral and written English, with excellent communication skills.
