Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and committed team member for the ‘Trading Risk & Valuation’ team (2nd Line Risk Control) to further develop and operationalise the independent price verification of financial instruments with a focus on private market investments. You can expect an exciting range of tasks in development with the opportunity to independently apply your skills.
Your responsibilities
- You will play a key role in the independent validation and monitoring of the valuation of proprietary trading positions with a focus on private market investments. You will be responsible for further developing and operationalising this.
- Support with price verification of financial instruments valued at fair value in general
- Collaboration in market risk and performance analysis of proprietary trading positions
- Collaboration with stakeholders from the trading, accounting and IT departments
- Initiating and supporting process and IT adjustments with the relevant stakeholders

Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics, finance or a comparable field; alternatively, a banking apprenticeship with specialised further training or relevant professional experience
- At least 3 years of experience in the valuation of financial instruments; experience in private market investments is an advantage
- Avaloq knowledge, S&P Capital IQ Pro knowledge and experience in market risk management are an advantage
- Independent and precise way of working as well as a high degree of self-motivation
- Enthusiasm and attention to detail in the maintenance and development of reports
- Enjoyment of teamwork
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and a general affinity for IT
- Very good knowledge of German and English
