Job Description
We are looking for an engaged Data Platform Engineer (f/m/d) to strengthen our Data Platform Team.
Your Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Data & IT Architects, Data Engineers, and Application/Software Engineers on the architecture, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of the Data Platform (DWH, Data Lake, Knowledge Graph)
- Maintain, automate, and operate data interfaces and pipelines
- Develop and operate the DevOps platform
- Orchestrate and operate the OpenShift/Kubernetes platform
- Collect data platform metrics
- Develop, operate, and maintain Microsoft Fabric
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a comparable field
- 5+ years of experience in developing IT Data Warehouse / Data Lake applications, ideally in the financial services industry
- Fluent in English and knowledge of German is an advantage
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server)
- Technical knowledge of ETL solutions for Data Warehouse and BI projects
- Experience with agile methodologies, GitLab, and/or graph techniques
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), security concepts, and streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka)
- Familiarity with Grafana, Prometheus
