PAY RATE: USD $68,000 - $80,000
Pay rate will vary based on criteria such as education, experience and qualifications of the applicant, location, internal equity, and alignment with the market.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: ~10%
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Risk and Compliance Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing hotline administration, conducting communications surveillance, monitoring social media, and administering GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) software. This role is crucial in ensuring our organization adheres to regulatory requirements and maintains a robust compliance framework.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Hotline Administration:
- Manage hotline inquires to completion and ensures all allegation reports are referred to appropriate resources within the company.
- Conduct initial assessments of hotline reports and escalate issues as necessary.
- Monitor progress of investigations and maintain records of issues handled.
- Ensure all reports are logged, tracked, and addressed in a timely manner.
- Provide regular reports on hotline activity and trends to senior management.
Communications Surveillance:
- Manage communication surveillance process, including review, escalation, and documentation.
- Monitor and review internal communications to ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to address and resolve identified issues.
Social Media Monitoring:
- Manage social media monitoring vendor and process, including review, escalation, and documentation.
- Monitor social media for potential compliance risks and reputational threats.
- Analyze social media activity to identify trends and emerging risks.
- Work with the relevant departments to develop strategies for mitigating identified risks.
GRC Software Administration:
- Administer and maintain the GRC software, including policy management, risk assessments, risk governance, and findings management.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new policies and procedures.
- Train staff on the use of GRC software and provide ongoing support.
- Generate and analyze reports from the GRC software to identify compliance gaps and areas for improvement.
- Develop and manage regulatory intelligence and change management processes.
General Support:
- Perform relevant administrative tasks, such as performing data entry and preparing compliance reports
- Serve as first point of contact through phone calls, general emails, or walk-ins: triage requests, respond to straightforward inquiries, and forward as appropriate.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using GRC software and other compliance-related tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Education/Experience:
- Professional certifications such as Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) or Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP).
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field.
- Proven experience in risk management, compliance, or a related field.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This job operates in a professional office environment. Largely a sedentary role with some filing requiring the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool as necessary. The ability to sit or stand for long periods through meetings and while operating office equipment, PC’s, laptop, telephone will be required.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; drive, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
During events, the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time (5 hours plus) is required. The ability to communicate with customers and colleagues using the following but not limited to radio, walkie talkie, text message and email is required. The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and manipulate equipment that is a minimum of 30 lbs. is required.
