About the Role:
Join our team as a Risk Admin and play a crucial role in safeguarding our projects' success. Your expertise in managing and mitigating risks will be key to driving innovation and ensuring a bright future for our organization.
Key Responsibility:
- Conduct thorough risk assessments by examining all aspects of the airport project.
- Identify potential risks related to construction, financing, scheduling, safety, regulatory compliance, and other project elements.
- Evaluate the potential impact and likelihood of each identified risk.
- Prioritize risks based on their significance to the project.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and plans to reduce or eliminate identified risks.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to implement risk mitigation measures.
- Ensure that risk mitigation plans align with project goals and objectives.
- Continuously monitor the project environment for new risks and changes to existing risks.
- Keep track of project progress and potential deviations from the plan that may introduce new risks.
- Prepare regular reports on the status of risks, including updates on risk assessments, mitigation progress, and any emerging issues.
- Communicate risk information to project managers, senior management, and stakeholders as necessary.
- Develop contingency plans to address potential risk scenarios that may impact the project schedule, budget, or quality.
- Ensure that contingency plans are well-documented and communicated to relevant team members.
- Maintain a comprehensive risk register that includes all identified risks, their potential impacts, and mitigation plans.
- Keep records of all risk-related documents, correspondence, and decisions.
- Review project contracts to identify potential contractual risks and liabilities.
- Work with legal experts to ensure that contracts are structured to minimize risks and protect the project's interests.
- Stay updated on relevant aviation regulations, safety standards, and local laws that may affect the project.
- Ensure that the project complies with all necessary legal and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, finance teams, and other stakeholders to integrate risk management into project planning and execution.
- Facilitate risk management discussions and workshops with project teams.
- Regularly review and improve the risk management processes and methodologies used in the project.
- Incorporate lessons learned from past projects to enhance risk management practices.
- Assess the need for insurance coverage to protect against specific risks and coordinate the procurement of insurance policies if required.
- Develop crisis management plans and procedures to respond effectively to unforeseen risks or emergencies.
- Any ad-hoc duty assigned by the line manager.
Suitable applicants will have/be:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in risk management, preferably within a PMC project environment.
