Ribbon Communications is looking for a Project Management Office (PMO) Leader to oversee and coordinate solution deployment projects. The PMO lead collaborates primarily with internal project stakeholders and the professional services deployment teams to ensure that the projects satisfy customer expectations for schedule, resourcing, and reporting. The PMO lead will track, monitor and report on overall program status, risks, issues, and dependencies.
Ribbon leverages Smartsheet as the foundation for managing projects, programs, and processes that scale. Responsibilities
Train and mentor, the Ribbon services team with objective to ensure all projects and programs align with common process.
Work with Ribbon project managers and Ribbon professional services team to ensure consistent project management process across all projects and lead cross-project reporting.
Provide regular communications/reporting to internal cross-functional teams about specific projects and program.
Mentor internal Ribbon resources to ensure alignment with project management processes.
Provides tools and resources that help employees understand and use best practices in project management. Encourages continuous improvement processes in organization's projects and programs, and in the program management office.
Directly runs some projects and programs.
Establishes appropriate KPIs to monitor the effectiveness of all projects and programs.
Communicates to management any structural hurdles that affect the overall program.
Required
· Bachelor´s degree in Telecommunication, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, and/or applicable Industry experience.
· At least 2 years of hands-on experience as a customer-facing Project Manager in a highly technical, fast paced environment.
· At least 2 years of technical knowledge / experience with implementing project management practices leveraging a structured project management software (Note: MS Excel is not considered a structured project management software).
· Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse and remote teams.
· Strong computer literacy including MS office and structured project management software (Smartsheet, Wrike, monday, etc…)
Desired:
· Experience with delivery processes related to field deployments technology solutions.
· Experience with Smartsheet.
