Job Summary
This position is on a short-term contract that may lead to other opportunities.
We are seeking a highly skilled RH 3scale API Management Senior Consultant to support our team in delivering robust integration solutions. This role focuses on Red Hat Integration technologies for microservices-based applications and involves implementing, configuring, and optimizing API management and messaging solutions.
As a Senior Consultant, you will work closely with clients to ensure seamless integration and effective management of enterprise APIs, streams, and connectors.

Key Responsibilities:

API Management:
- Design, implement, and manage Red Hat 3scale API Management solutions.
- Optimize API gateway configurations for performance and security.

Integration Development:
- Configure and deploy Camel Kafka Connectors for seamless data streaming.
- Develop and manage Kafka Topics for scalable event-driven architectures.
- Implement AMQ Streams for high-throughput messaging solutions.

Database Integration:
- Utilize Debezium SQL Connectors for change data capture and database synchronization.

Technical Expertise:
- Provide expertise in Red Hat Integration technologies tailored for microservices-based architectures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex API and messaging integration issues.

Collaboration:
- Work in a remote delivery team environment while coordinating with VA stakeholders.
- Participate in technical discussions, providing guidance on best practices and implementation strategies.
Required Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship (required to comply with federal contract requirements).
- Strong experience with Red Hat 3scale API Management and associated technologies.
- Hands-on expertise with:
- Camel Kafka Connector
- Kafka Topic
- AMQ Stream / Debezium SQL Connector
- In-depth knowledge of Red Hat Integration tools for microservices-based applications.
- Ability to pass a VA background check.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for remote delivery.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Red Hat Certified Specialist in API Management or other relevant certifications.
- Previous experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or federal agencies.
- Familiarity with additional Red Hat products and cloud-native solutions.
