Job purpose
The Revenue Specialist is responsible for analyzing, monitoring, and maximizing business revenue through market data inside and consumer behavior analysis. Responsible for design pricing and commercial investment strategies for the different market segments and sales channels. Works in collaboration with Sales, Supply, and Marketing teams to develop strategies that maximize commercial investment, demand alignment, cost saving opportunities and business's commercial KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
Duties and responsibilities

  • Design dynamic pricing strategies by market and sales channels.
  • Monitor and analyze profit margins and costs by product and channels.
  • Evaluate the company's historical, current, and future profitability trends.
  • Identify revenue growth opportunities for the business.
  • Manage sales investment budget, promotions, and discounts to ensure ROI.
  • Analyze demand elasticity.
  • Monitor market behavior and key competitors to adjust strategies.
  • Evaluate markets profitability and develop best practices within markets.
  • Financial analysis by highlighting key metrics and providing actionable insights for sales opportunities.
  • Integrate external market sensitivity models to evaluate internal impacts (inflation, political and trade regulations, etc.)
  • Create dashboards to monitor key KPIs of profitability.
  • Prepare KPI dashboards, communicate findings, recommendations, and business insights effectively to business leadership.
  • Present findings and strategies to influence strategic decision-making.
  • Participate in projects for new opportunities and expansion for new segments and markets.
  • Lead analysis on monthly trade investment execution, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead sell-out analysis for customers and distributors, identifying opportunities for growth and optimization.
  • Act as controller of trade spend, ensuring compliance with budget guidelines and maximizing return on investment.
  • Approval of credit note creation flow generated by trade spend and pricing.
  • Ensure the preparation of monthly pricing list reports and analyses, consolidating a monthly investment summary for approval, and verifying that all promotions have undergone the necessary approval processes.
  • Serve as a CoPilot for commercial analysis, forecasting by customer, country, and region.
  • Act as the guardian of profitability, monitoring gross profit by SKU, customer, country, and region.
  • Ensure customer analysis and lead special projects with a direct impact on gross profit, providing strategic recommendations based on findings.
  • Ensure compliance with revenue recognition policies and accounting standards
  • Maintenance of price database in the system.
  • Support audit processes in OTC, pricing, and investment areas.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
  • Nice to have, MBA College degree in Finance or Accounting coursework.
  • Minimum of two (2) to four (4) years of experience in a financial, revenue management, or business intelligence role is required.
  • Strong knowledge of pricing analysis and commercial investments.
  • Experience in revenue for food service, QSR, or retail industries.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, pricing analysis, and ROI evaluation.
  • Previous experience in audit processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with ERP and revenue management systems (e.g., SAP, PBI, Salesforce).
  • Knowledge of the Caribbean and Central America market is preferred.


Personal characteristics or functional capabilities should include :

  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in data modeling, pricing strategies, and market analysis.
  • Proficiency in forecasting tools, data visualization, and revenue management software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-market environment with strong decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally.
  • Understanding of the planning and closing process of costs and the P&L components related to gross margin.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Orientation towards obtaining results, demonstrating a sense of urgency, proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to make decisions with limited information and time in ambiguous scenarios.
  • Strong MS Office management skills. Basic knowledge of SAP.
  • Strong effective communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Ability to influence peers, Senior Leaders, and main stakeholders of the company.
