Job Description

ROLE AND RESPONSABILITIES:
As Revenue Manager (M/F), you will report to the General Manager and will be responsible for:

- Analysis of daily and weekly pickup and making the necessary adjustments to the strategy to maximize income.

- Conducting competitive analysis and researching new market trends.

- Preparation of monthly forecasts/forecasts of room revenue and other revenues, by market segment, for the next 6 months.

- Maintenance of the demand calendar to identify trends and seasons.

- Monthly maintenance of the corporate forecast/forecast template for its correct loading into the central financial systems.

- Carrying out production analysis by room type and management of supplements for higher categories to maximize occupancy and ARR.

- Carrying out displacement analysis and price suggestion for group business, in accordance with the established strategy.

- Continuous evaluation of the need for promotional actions and/or discounts and their subsequent monitoring according to need.

- Annual preparation of FIT rates by season and room type.

- Annual preparation of golf packages, both for direct clients and tour operations.

- Coordination of the loading of hotel-specific rates with central departments and ensuring that the segmentation and reservation process in the system is correct.

- Evaluate the production of the different agents: OTAs, tour operators, own channels, etc. and propose improvements to maximize income per season.

- Ensure parity in all channels, reporting disparities to central offices for resolution.

- Management and maintenance of inventory controls to maximize income.

- Prepare the budget in the income part, by market segment and month for presentation to management and corporate management.

- Supervise the reservations department, ensuring follow-up of procedures.

- Maintaining contact with Market Managers of strategic accounts to identify areas of improvement and business opportunities.
 

Qualifications

WE LOOK FOR CANDIDATES WITH:
 

. Experience in same position at least 3-5 years in a position in the luxury sector
. Degree level - preferably in Tourism, Business Studies, Economics, Business Admin.  

. Use software and Rev Management tools; Duetto, siteminder, OTAinsight and ReviewPro

. Advance Excel
. Fluent spoken and written English
. This position will be based in the Hotel in Vilamoura

. Organized and methodical 
. Highly quantitative analytical skills 
. Strategic thinking and mind set 
. Commercial sense 
. Strong influencing and communication skills
