Job Description Summary:
The Charge Analyst serves as liaison among clinical operations and revenue cycle by ensuring appropriate workflows and controls are established to drive accurate and timely charge capture in compliance with OhioHealth policies.
In this role, the Charge Analyst works to identify areas of opportunity for over/under charging and root cause correction by leveraging knowledge of clinical operations, documentation, coding, and charge capture.

Certification in at least one of the following RN, CPC, CPC-H, CCS, CCS-P, RHIA, or Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management or related field. Knowledge of clinical and financial applications for documentation, billing, coding and patient accounting. 3 - 5 years Experience in Patient Accounts, Health Information Management or Charge Description Master Management. Proficiency in Excel, Access, Reporting and Epic.
