Intro and job overview:
Precisely’s Summer Internship Program is a paid, part-time opportunity for undergraduate students actively enrolled in university. This is an 10-week program that begins June 9th and ends on August 15th. This opportunity is 100% remote and you must be located in the United States during the summer internship. The Revenue Accounting Intern will work closely with the Finance team.
The Revenue Accounting intern will be responsible for meticulously documenting internal controls throughout the Quote to Cash process. This documentation is crucial for ensuring accurate revenue recognition inputs into the Revenue Management System, NetSuite ARM. By maintaining precise and comprehensive records, the intern will play a key role in supporting the integrity and accuracy of our financial reporting.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Updating the Internal Controls Matrix to ensure it reflects the most current processes and controls
- Facilitating updates to Narratives to maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation
- Supporting the design of a workflow tool for tracking controls, enhancing efficiency and oversight
- Assisting in the design and implementation of a case management system for revenue consultations, improving the management and resolution of revenue-related issues
Requirements and qualifications:
- Precisely's internship program is designed for rising junior and senior undergraduate students graduating after August 2025.
- We prefer candidates in the Eastern Time Zone, but all are welcome to apply
- Interest in operational accounting with ASC 606
- Understanding of Internal Controls
- Project management skill
