We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with a strong background in ASC 606 revenue recognition, Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, and core general ledger accounting. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting, efficient revenue operations, and compliance with GAAP standards. You will work cross-functionally with finance, billing, and other teams to maintain and enhance our financial processes in a fast-growing, high-volume environment. Key Responsibilities:

• General Ledger Accounting: Maintain the integrity of the GL by preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and ensuring proper classification of transactions.
• ASC 606 Revenue Recognition: Ensure proper revenue recognition for subscription-based contracts, including SSP allocations, contract modifications, and deferred revenue reconciliations.
• Month-End Close: Lead various aspects of the monthly close process, including revenue and expense accruals, bank reconciliations, prepaid expenses and fixed asset accounting, and variance analysis. Ensure a timely and accurate financial close.
• Accounts Payable & Expense Management: Assist with AP processes, vendor payments, corporate credit card charges, and employee expense reimbursements, ensuring compliance with company policies and GAAP.
• Financial Reporting & Compliance: Assist in the preparation of GAAP-compliant financial statements, footnotes, and external reporting. Support audit and tax requests.
• Process Optimization & Automation: Identify inefficiencies in revenue accounting and core GL processes. Partner with finance leadership to implement process improvements and automation solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in public accounting and/or SaaS accounting, with at least 1 year in a Senior role.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, revenue recognition policies (ASC 606), financial reporting, and month-end close processes.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., ERP) and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM preferred.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
