PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
Support enterprise level process improvement and standardization across the Revenue Cycle Organization through quality review. This includes assisting in the preparation, analysis and summary of Revenue Cycle activity, as well as reporting findings in an effective manner. Additionally, includes acting as a resource to other project leaders on a variety of initiatives. The incumbent will perform general analyses to ensure data accuracy and integrity of revenue cycle processes.
The Specialist will collaborate across the Revenue Cycle Organization, reviewing activity reports related to implemented processes, initiatives, and projects. The Specialist will support Corporate RCM by communicating analysis findings, ensuring implemented procedures are being followed, and identifying retraining opportunities as needed.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Delivers required number of quality assurance reviews in a timely manner; communicating clear results to management.

Works with team to gain understanding of quality assurance and requirements when new initiatives are rolled out across the Revenue Cycle Organization.

Works closely with the Revenue Cycle team leaders to support process integration through analytics and research.

Analyzes data to identify process improvement and training opportunities as needed.

Provides thorough reviews and communicates results of newly implemented or existing processes, ensuring the processes/procedures are clearly understood by the Revenue Centers.

Acts as a liaison between Revenue Centers and Corporate functions, so that all parties' questions and concerns are understood and addressed.

Provides consistent feedback/results post review to Revenue Cycle teams to encourage open communication around processes.

Effectively utilizes time management and prioritization skills in order to work independently, manage workload and meet the required deadlines and targets.

Takes initiative to complete additional analysis and determine areas of opportunity as identified.

Assists with other Revenue Cycle Management projects or assignments as requested or needed.

Assists with various projects as assigned by direct supervisor.

EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's or Associates Degree required
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 3-5 years healthcare revenue cycle experience.
- Knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures of revenue cycle, finance and accounting.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows-based software applications (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Strong analytical skills including compiling, reviewing, interpreting, and reporting data.
- Self-starter, independent thinker and collaborative team player
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Well organized and detail oriented.
