Position Overview

As a Resource Manager, you will report directly to the Managing Director (MD) and be based at our London headquarters in Farringdon. Your primary responsibility will be to optimize the utilization of our consultants, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently, and projects are staffed swiftly. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our bench as low as possible in tracking project opportunities, anticipating consultant availability, and aligning resources with project needs, that has a direct impact on companies bottom line and consultant career development and motivation. Your efforts will be integral to maintaining the balance between project fast deployment and execution as well as consultants' career aspirations and preferences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that our consultants are utilized at an optimal level, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
  • Quickly identify and allocate resources to projects, ensuring that they are staffed with the right skills and within budget constraints.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our consultants' skills, career plans, and preferences to align them with suitable projects.
  • Support excellent presentation of our consultants skills and unique value internally and externally
  • Monitor and manage the recruitment pipeline to ensure a steady flow of talent that meets the evolving needs of our projects.
  • Stay informed about upcoming project opportunities and track their progress to anticipate resource needs.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of project ends to better understand and anticipate consultant availability.
  • Foster an environment that aligns the availability of consultants with project opportunities, integrating project skills and cost requirements.
  • Interface with Senior Managers in particular with the sales and bid team on one side to understand load signal and the Competence Center managers and recruitment team.
  • Collaborate closely and continuously with them to understand live project demands and resource requirements.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to assess project needs, consultant availability, and resource allocation.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills to manage and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Salesforce and Excel Proficiency: Proficiency in Salesforce and Excel for tracking, analyzing, and reporting data.
  • Creating Positive Rapport: Ability to build positive relationships and rapport with consultants and stakeholders while maintaining constant tension on the system to deliver fastest resourcing and lean capability management.
  • Chasing: Proactive approach to follow up on project opportunities and resource assignments.
  • Understanding of ITES Skills and Offerings: In-depth knowledge of ITES skills, services, and industry offerings.
  • Senior Management relationship: Experience in effectively collaborating with senior management and decision-makers.
    This role will require you to have or be willing to go through Security Clearance. As part of the onboarding process candidates will be asked to complete a Baseline Personnel Security Standard; details of the evidence required to apply may be found on the government website Gov.UK. If you are unable to meet this and any associated criteria, then your employment may be delayed, or rejected. Details of this will be discussed with you at interview.
