We are seeking Subtitling Project Managers to join our Media & Entertainment division. In this role, you will collaborate closely with client tools, workflows, and teams to ensure seamless management of multilingual localization projects. The ideal candidate will excel in file delivery management, overseeing the handoff and delivery of multiple projects of varying scales, all while meeting client-agreed timelines. Job Responsibilities
- Resource Management: Recruit and manage resources required for subtitling projects, including linguists, translators, and subtitling software.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze performance metrics of linguist teams, identifying areas for improvement, work closely with PM team to set priority for recruitment and resource training.
- Innovation & Workflow Optimization: Develop and implement new ideas and tools that enhance the efficiency of resource management workflows, with a focus on automation, productivity improvements, and quality control.
- Vendor and Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with linguists, project managers, and vendors to address workflow bottlenecks and ensure a smooth and efficient process.
- Quality Assurance: Work closely with the quality control team to identify quality issues, provide feedback to linguists, and ensure continuous improvement in subtitling quality.
- Training & Onboarding: Develop training materials and onboarding processes to help linguists adapt to evolving workflows, ensuring consistent high-quality results.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Use performance data and project insights to recommend resource allocation and process adjustments that improve overall efficiency.
- 3+ years in resource management, linguistics, or subtitling localization.
- Experience working with global subtitling teams or language service providers.
- Proficiency in subtitling tools, CAT tools, Excel, PowerPoint & Google Drive.
- Excellent project management skills and experience with performance tracking systems.
- Ability to develop innovative ideas to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with global teams.
- Familiarity with AI-driven subtitling tools, automation software, and data analytics platforms is a plus.
