Job Description:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:
- Receives planograms and instructions from Supervisor for store resets and provides guidance to Representatives on how new merchandise or section space is being requested to be altered.
- Serve as the leader and travel to stores in an assigned geographical area to oversee reset layouts, communicate planogram, and floor plan, and provide direction to remove merchandise from shelves, and relocating fixtures to conform to the new floor plan.
- Ensures team minimizes the disruption of the operations of the store when Representative are setting up product staging, label and price section to meet each projects needs based on timeline provided.
- Works closely with reset representative team to execute the day-to-day plan within the store over a specified timeframe; projects may take up to 2-3 weeks to complete.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position directly supervises fifteen (15) Reset Representatives and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Weis Markets policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training, directing, rewarding, and disciplining associates; appraising associate performance; and resolving complaints.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) equivalent, plus five (5) years’ experience in operations or merchandising; or equivalent combination of education and experience. In addition, the associate should have knowledge of reading blueprints/planograms.
