Job Summary:
We are seeking a driven User Research Study Coordinator to support the development and evaluation of cutting-edge consumer wearable technologies for innovative products. This role involves designing experiments, leading data collection studies, and working with advanced devices and early prototypes. You will play a key role in shaping future products while ensuring studies adhere to best practices for safety and privacy.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit and schedule participants for internal user studies, manage participant onboarding/off-boarding, conduct studies with participants, and generate feedback and reports with outcomes.
- Collaborate with algorithm and engineering teams to understand data collection requirements and define collection protocols, procedures, and related research documentation.
- Coordinate efforts between internal teams (e.g., legal, privacy, and security) to ensure compliance with applicable rules, laws, and best practices.
- Oversee and track progress of externally managed data collection efforts, both remotely and on-site.
- Manage and analyze data using internal tools, ensuring adherence to data-handling protocols.
- May require up to 25% travel to Redmond, WA.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experienced in a user research coordinator or similar role.
- Proficiency with tools like Excel or similar software for data analysis and visualization.
- Proficiency with survey creation tools such as Qualtrics, Survey Monkey, Google Forms, or similar.
- Experience with scripting environments such as MATLAB, Python, and/or R is preferred.
- Experience coordinating and maintaining schedules across multiple teams, managing shared resources, and collaborating with legal and policy teams.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting and testing hardware prototypes is preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changes.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
