The Role
As a Research Integrity Specialist, you will interact with top researchers across multiple academic fields and forge a strong network with competent and passionate publishing professionals. You will be building on from your academic experience and translating this to the world of publication ethics, becoming an expert on issues related to publishing ethics and research integrity. You will contribute to making ground-breaking research published and open to read for everybody.

As a Research Integrity Specialist you will:
- Pre-screen manuscripts submissions across a portfolio of journals or journal sections.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and external researchers, and academics on all issues related to research integrity in academic publishing, from plagiarism to data fabrication to conflicts of interest.
- Use industry-leading technology and data analytics to maintain our commitment to quality at scale.
- Investigate high-level post-publication concerns, liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
About You:
- Educated to a Masters level or higher in a scientific field or hold a BSc degree and have prior experience in academic/STM publishing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to clearly and discreetly discuss sensitive topics.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and deal with ambiguity with resilience and maturity.
- Able to manage your time efficiently, judging urgency and taking proactive measures where necessary.
- Fluent English speaking skills (C2 level).

Our offices are located in Madrid and London, and we typically have team members working from the office for three days a week. You're welcome to work from home for the two remaining days.
