We are looking for an experienced Research Engineer to implement an online platform to host educational videos, connect it to AI tools such as ChatGPT, and develop dashboards of user activity. We are looking for a developer to start immediately. This educational platform will be used for research purposes, and therefore, there are also opportunities to engage in research once it is implemented, up and running.
You will also design and implement high-quality modular coding to allow the application to grow organically over time. All specifications for the first version of this platform and its main features have already been defined as a starting point and can be discussed or changed as needed to ensure correct implementation.
Candidates must submit a copy of their résumé, a list of relevant skills to this project, and an example of previously developed code for similar projects.
Core responsibilities will include:

Propose and lead independent research goals within scope of projects.

Contributor in developing and documenting research findings and collaborator in writing scientific papers

Lead research efforts within the main goals of project, and help coordinate interactions with other team members and universities.

Writing documentation, technical papers, progress reports and participating in meetings/committees.

Performs related duties as assigned.

A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.

A combination of education and relevant experience demonstrating equivalent knowledge and skills will be considered.

Fixed Term: This is a fixed-term position with an estimated duration through October 2026.

Work Posture: This position is operating on a hybrid schedule, with an on-campus/in-office presence 3 days a week.

Typical Work Schedule: Monday-Friday from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. An alternate work schedule allowing for evening and weekend hours will be required on occasion.
