About The Role
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail oriented Research Associate to support our strategic efforts in identifying potential Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) targets. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving our growth strategy by conducting in-depth research on behavioral health companies, evaluating market opportunities, and building actionable insights for executive decision-making. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with our leadership team and contribute to the company’s long-term success.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive research to identify and evaluate potential M&A targets, focusing on behavioral health companies that align with Unified Vision’s mission and strategic objectives.
- Collect and analyze financial, operational, and market data to assess the viability and potential synergies of acquisition targets.
- Map and monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to inform the M&A strategy.
- Develop detailed profiles of target companies, including key financial metrics, business models, leadership teams, and market positioning.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to align research efforts with organizational goals and strategic priorities.
- Create clear and concise reports, presentations, and recommendations for leadership, summarizing research findings and insights.
- Maintain and update a database of potential M&A targets and track relevant industry developments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in market research, investment banking, consulting, or a related field, preferably with a focus on M&A.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills, with a proven ability to assess financial and operational performance.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle complex data with precision.
- Familiarity with the healthcare or behavioral health industry is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in GSuite and research tools (e.g., PitchBook, Capital IQ).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex information effectively to stakeholders.
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work 5 days a week in our Bengaluru office with a fully in-person team.
