Reporting and Analytics Analyst
Job Summary
Equinix's Global Channel Program Team is looking for a Reporting & Analytics Analyst. This role involves analyzing data trends, supporting process enhancements, and delivering impactful insights to boost productivity and performance. The ideal candidate will provide guidance to internal customers, interpret data, and create detailed reports with visual representations and meaningful conclusions. Collaboration with colleagues to establish sustainable analysis procedures is also a key aspect of this role.
Responsibilities
Data Analysis

Explores data within multiple files to resolve trends, correlations, and causal relations between variables

Work multi-functionally to craft a solution that will meet business requirements

Builds sophisticated analysis, using insights from data exploration to build comprehensive reports with visualizations and insights

Data Visualization using Tableau – includes, conceptualization, creation & maintenance

Explains data to clients and prepares them to present data and answer questions
Scheduled Reports

Downloads required data and creates pre-defined reports as per the defined schedule

Build information/technology plans based on an understanding of the customer's organizational strategic direction, technical context, and business needs

Makes recommendations of what data should be explored and debriefs customers and team members to explain data insights and confirm the report

Delivers reports to partner group and answers questions about the report in most effective manners
Relationship Management/ Team Membership

Works with across wider team to learn about Equinix data sources, processes, practices, and systems Project Management

Exemplifies Equinix values in all aspects of their work, including engagement with their peers, line managers, leadership, and wider Strategy & Insights team and Equinix Data community
Qualifications
-
3+ years related experience preferred
-
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Data Science, or relevant engineering discipline preferred

Proven Experience in Leading and Driving Performance of Reporting & Analytics Team

Analytical problem solver and independent-minded thinker; can apply theoretical concepts to real business problems

Proficiency in at least one visualization tool, preferrable TABLEAU, PowerBI etc

Strong data and reporting skills – Data model design, reporting/dashboard design specification, data quality controls, business data cataloging

Expert level knowledge of Databases/SQL, Python and other languages
