About the Job: 

Qt Group is seeking a highly motivated, and skilled individual to join the Japan sales teams as a Renewal Specialist. As a Renewal Specialist, you will be responsible for your book of renewal business in your assigned territory. You will utilize CRM tools to coordinate renewal activities that result in early and on-time bookings. The role requires close collaboration directly with customers and as well as Account Managers. You will also build strong relationships with Customer Success peers to retain and expand our customer base. Managing a positive customer experience is a critical component of this role with a focus on retention and growth.

You will:

  • Successful Management of renewal opportunities
  • Communicating closely and regularly with customers through online meetings, via phone and email
  • Discovering potential license expansions to refer up-and cross-selling opportunities to account managers
  • Interacting closely with account managersto align on customer strategies and coordinate customer-facing communication Utilizing CRM (Salesforce) to manage your business book and document the progress of customer engagements
  • Giving sales forecasts from own opportunities to line manager
  • Carrying out customer success activities with customers ensuring that customers get the best value for their products, and documenting value-creating elements for future use to the CRM system
  • Having pricing discussions with customers taking into account price history, customer-specific situation, and company standard pricing
  • Value-based selling and pricing tactics

About You

The requirements should be sorted by their importance and the tone of importance:

  • 5+ years of Renewals experience in a high-growth software company
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Independent and confident work style
  • Proficient in Salesforce and other Customer Success tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Japanese and English
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
