JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Overview:

Green Dot Corporation is seeking a dynamic and strategic Manager of Operations and Analytics to contribute to the success of the Back Office Operations department. This role is integral to driving operational efficiency, key contact on audits, process and controls, leveraging advanced analytics, and overseeing key processes in the Back Office Operations.  The ideal candidate will combine operational expertise with proficiency in data tools like Informatica, AWS, and KPI reporting to optimize workflows and support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Optimization: Utilize analytics to identify and implement process improvements, streamline workflows, and reduce operational costs. Follow the DMAIC principles of Define, Measure, Analyze, Implement and Control.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with compliance and customer service teams to align strategies and maintain seamless operations.

  • Operational Governance: Oversee back-office processes, ensuring adherence to policies, audits, process controls and regulatory requirements through research and automation.

  • Training and Development: Collaborate with Learning & Development teams to enhance team capabilities and align skills with evolving business needs.

  • Data Analytics and Reporting: Leverage advanced analytics tools (e.g., Informatica, AWS, PowerBI) to generate performance insights, track KPIs, and identify opportunities for operational enhancements.

  • Performance Monitoring: Define and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor team effectiveness, alerts, operational efficiency, and overall performance, making data-driven adjustments as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in operations and analytics, preferably within financial services or a related industry.

  • Expertise in data analysis tools and platforms such as Informatica, AWS, SQL, and Excel.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data and present actionable insights.

  • Proven track record of establishing and monitoring KPIs to drive performance and efficiency.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a focus on team development and collaboration.

  • Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, remote environment.

PAY RANGE

The targeted base salary for this position is $94,300 to $141,500 per year. The final compensation will be determined by a number of factors such as qualifications, expertise, and the candidate’s geographical location.
