We are hiring a Reliability Engineer responsible for implementing strategies to optimize asset lifecycle, minimize downtime, and improve overall operational efficiency.
•This role will utilize analytics and statistical expertise to enhance asset availability, developing strategically optimized and reliable maintenance plans to augment process capability and increase production capacity.
•Efficiently implement advanced predictive maintenance technologies and methodologies to enhance equipment reliability utilizing innovative predictive tools, including vibration analysis, ultrasound, lubrication, and infrared thermography, to proactively identify potential issues before they escalate into equipment failures.
•Analysis of equipment reliability and performance data to gain comprehensive insights, identifying potential issues and failure modes through the application of reliability-centered maintenance techniques, ensuring a proactive approach to maintenance
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement continuous improvement strategies aimed at optimizing overall equipment reliability and performance
•Continuous improvement initiatives, cost-saving measures, digital transformation, optimization of asset lifecycles, downtime reduction, and asset reliability management
•Lead and drive continuous improvement projects to elevate the reliability and performance of factory assets and structures
•Identify opportunities for minimizing downtime through proactive maintenance strategies with predictive maintenance methodologies to address potential issues before they impact day-to-day operations, ensuring uninterrupted productivity
•Define the strategy for activities related to tribology and lubrication, encompassing vibration analysis, thermography, metal corrosion, asset integrity, thermochemical analysis, ultrasonography, and fault diagnosis
•Analyze existing operational costs with a focus on implementing innovative and effective cost-saving strategies, ensuring resource utilization, without compromising the reliability of operations
•Devise and execute strategies to optimize the lifecycles of factory assets and structures, collaborating closely with engineering and operations teams to integrate reliability seamlessly into the design and planning phases, ensuring long-term operational efficiency
•Apply Life Cycle Costing methodologies for evaluating the economic life of assets, enabling modernization and reliability projects by making informed decisions based on a thorough understanding of maintenance costs, future resource needs, and potential investment alternatives
•Spearhead transformative digital initiatives utilizing the IPS Reliability method for predictive maintenance and implementing state-of-the-art technologies to amplify asset monitoring, performance analysis, and maintenance strategies, fostering a digitally optimized operational environment
•Utilize techniques such as Six Sigma, Applied and Advanced Statistics, Predictive/Proactive Analysis & Tools, RCM, FMEA, FEMECA, Analytics tools, artificial intelligence, neural networks, and machine learning for innovation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience as a Reliability Engineer or similar role in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance principles and techniques.
- Proficiency in using predictive maintenance tools and technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Reliability Engineering (CRE) or equivalent.
- Experience with reliability software and data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of cost analysis and budget management.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Patience, punctuality, and attendance.
- Proactive and committed to continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated leadership and project management capabilities.
- Desire to grow and assume a management position within the company.

Pay Range:
$78,700.00-$104,966.67 Annual
This pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).
Incentive Compensation:
As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
