Role:
As a Software Development Engineer in Test, you will be participating in all aspects of software testing and tools development for the embedded software development team within the Automotive Systems Division. You will work cross-functionally with teams developing reliable, adaptable, and scalable test solutions and automated testing at white box and black box levels to deliver top quality software that delights our customers.
Demonstrated ability to:
-
Experience in Python programming
-
Experience with PyTest or similar test framework
-
Generating test data, performing test data analysis, preparing reports of test results
-
Development of automated testing scripts
-
Validation automation and scripting
-
Reproducing and root cause software bugs found during development
-
Out of the box thinking
-
Good written and verbal communication skills
Preferred skills / experience (nice to have):
-
Embedded development and/or unit testing of embedded products
-
Experience in signal processing development or test
-
Experience with software automated testing: writing software to test other software modules
-
Experience running and testing embedded software running on hardware boards
-
Experience automating testing using signal generators, oscilloscopes, power supplies, networking, etc.
-
Experience with continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI/CD)
-
Experience in the automotive industry
-
BS in Computer Science or equivalent
