Job Description
- Planning, designing, installing, and developing Linux server infrastructure based on Ubuntu, as well as administration and maintenance of highly available OpenStack clouds.
- Managing performance, capacity, and availability of Linux servers.
- Ensuring system operability using a ticketing system (troubleshooting, 2nd/3rd level support).
- Adapting and creating automation and system configuration processes (scripting).
- Providing IT security support, including implementing hardening and securing servers and services running on them.
- On-call shifts, 2nd/3rd level support.
Technologies:
- OpenStack (on-premises, 6 environments, 250 virtual machines, vanilla stack).
- CEPH.
- Ansible Playbooks.
- GitLab Pipelines (on-premises).
- OpenQRM (custom system).
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of operations in Linux environments.
- Experience with Ansible Playbooks.
- Familiarity with GitLab Pipelines (on-premises).
- Experience in OpenStack administration and cloud-oriented systems.
- Scripting and process automation skills.
- Availability for on-call shifts (night/weekend shifts in rotation with colleagues from Germany).
Additional Assets:
- Knowledge of CEPH.
- Experience with monitoring systems.
- Interest in IT security and cloud infrastructure management.
- Hybrid work model (at least 3 days per week in the office).
