SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

As the Regional Supply Chain Executive, you will assist the Regional Supply Chain Manager by closely coordinating and following up on supply chain and logistics activities with local units to enhance the overall supply chain function. Your efforts will ensure the market is effectively served in terms of delivery performance, cost, and asset utilization, all while adhering to Jotun Operations and HSE principles.
This position will be based in Dubai, UAE; and will report to the Regional Supply Chain Manager - MEIA.

Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in supply chain and logistics improvement projects, offering expertise and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and policies.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Technical team and stakeholders to continuously enhance the supply chain structure to meet the business needs.
  • Support local organizations in continuous improvement initiatives based on lean principles, organizing regional meetings.
  • Coordinate and support logistics and production units to optimize supply chain activities, ensuring efficiency and high delivery performance.
  • Facilitate improved cooperation among production units, warehouses, and goods flow, assisting the network in overcoming shortages for optimal delivery.
  • Suggest and engage in improvement initiatives, maintain focus on KPIs, enhance regional reporting through Power BI, and assist with yearly capacity exercises and product innovations and phase-outs.

What We Look For

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience, preferably within a multinational or manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in coordinating and managing supply chain activities across multiple locations or regions.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and visualization tools, and a structured approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solution-oriented and ability to maintain a holistic overview of supply chain functions and operations.
