Our multicultural Payroll team is searching for a Regional Payroll Specialist to join the team in Czech Republic. As a Regional Payroll specialist, you will work hand in hand with stakeholders across Payroll, HR Operations and other business lines to ensure our employees are paid accurately and on time.
We are responsible for working with our external payroll providers in processing payrolls in 11 countries across Europe. We service approximately 1500 employees in Czech Republic, Sweden, Finland, Germany, France, Spain, Switzerland, Italy, Ireland, Portugal and Tunisia.
This role will support the function in executing accurate, timely and compliant payrolls for the above countries, mainly Czech Republic. There is also an opportunity to learn and support on Payrolls in our North America region, covering Canada and US Payrolls.
Role Responsibilities
- Responsible for collecting and submission of payroll data to external payroll provider (CloudPay).
- Liaise with HR Operations team and Finance team in Czech Republic and other assigned European locations to ensure timely delivery of all payroll-related data.
- Responsible for validation and reconciliation of payroll input and output against third party payroll reports.
- Supporting in Tax Year End processes.
- Dealing with queries from employees, HR Operations team, Finance team and Auditors.
- Supporting in ongoing payroll projects.
- Ensuring high value customer service to our employees.
- Keeping track of deadlines and maintaining payroll processes following work regulations, labour code, internal audit process etc.
Experience Required
- Experience using Workday and/ or CloudPay is preferable although full system training will be provided.
- Experience with Czech payroll processes is a must.
- Good knowledge in Excel and experience with Microsoft Office.
- Detail-oriented.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and process mapping skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a supportive and friendly team environment, contributing to collective efforts aimed at maintaining effective, up-to-date, and compliant processes.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Fluent in English, Czech/Slovak (a MUST)
