As Regional Operations Manager in Logistics Business Operations, this person will manage and oversee overall daily operations for all warehouses to successfully deliver results, especially customer service and finance activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the President and Executive team to develop strategic goals and objectives, and create strategic and tactical plans for optimizing and improving operational efficiency.
  • Provide leadership to warehouse management by implementing short-term plans and setting goals and objectives aligned with the plant's mission and strategic vision.
  • Oversee various functions related to inbound/outbound processes, air/ocean transportation, local distribution, drayage, logistics, and warehouse management.
  • Review current or emerging trends that may indicate potential gaps in warehouse operations, and make data-driven recommendations to branch managers.
  • Enhance overall warehouse productivity by effective budgeting, eliminating inefficiencies, capitalizing on growth opportunities, and implementing relevant employee training programs.
  • Communicate directly with customers regarding special projects, weekly shipping schedules, and inbound receiving, focusing on low-inventory models that could impact outbound processing.
  • Conduct daily status meetings with branch leaders to review warehouse performance, develop action plans, and ensure productivity targets are met.
  • Report and thoroughly investigate any service failures, accidents, misconduct, security issues, or claims to the relevant department for immediate support and resolution.
  • Safeguard warehouse operations and inventory by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
  • Continuously analyze and improve warehouse and employee productivity to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to engage with clients, promoting our solutions and services, and assisting with the implementation of customer programs.
  • Monitor the overall operational status to enhance efficiency, ensure profitability, and secure business continuity. 
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s  Degree or higher required
  • Bilingual in Korean and English preferred
  • 16+ years of logistics Freight Forwarding experience working with Top Global international Freight forwarders, Warehouse Operations and Transportation Relevant Industry Knowledge
  • Ability to build trustworthy relationships with customers at all levels (C Level, Managers, Staff)
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience with marketing programs and campaigns
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Logistics Cost Analysis, understanding the contents of logistics costs incurred in air/sea transportation, and identifying trends and appropriate market prices.
  • Experience with  finding the optimal route with various transport modes and multimodal transport and setup for transport
  • Experience in leading a group of team members with effective leadership
  • Experience in establishing a transport plan that can optimize loading rate, transport time and logistics cost
  • Experience in establishing and managing a logistics process for each type, such as warehouse operation/local transportation and operating guidelines.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% in US

Your base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. Your base pay will depend on your skills, education, qualifications, experience, and location.
