DIVISION:
U.S. AutoForcePOSITION SUMMARYOversee the operational functions and activities for numerous outlying automotive distribution warehouses within a specific region. Manage large projects such as warehouse moves, additions and set up of new acquisitions. Provide leadership necessary to achieve high levels of associate and customer engagement, and operational efficiency.
This Regional Manager will cover northern California must be located within the region with ability to travel within region 50% of the time.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee regional warehouse operations to deliver and maintain outstanding customer service
- Manage and participate in business acquisitions, warehouse moves, and special projects
- Manage activities related to dispatching, routing, receiving, picking, inventory, and returns of warehouse operations to determine equipment, facilities and staffing needs
- Maintain a current knowledge level of new concepts, techniques, and technologies related to our processes, products, and services to support continuous improvement efforts encompassing identified best practices
- Monitor operations to ensure that staff members comply with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules and government regulations
- Review and manage safety and loss prevention programs
- Mentor and develop associates
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent experience
- 5 - 7 years warehouse and/or distribution experience
- 3 years supervisory/management experience
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record
- Knowledgeable in material handling and inventory documentation
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and legal requirements for drivers
- Ability to understand, review and complete budgets
- Effective communicator to a wide range of people at all levels of the organization
- Ability to deal with a variety of situations and make decisions and adjustments as unexpected situations arise
- Ability to deal with customers and suppliers
- Comprehensive understanding of safety and OSHA requirements
- Ability to project a positive image to customers
- Demonstrated product, technical and customer service knowledge
- Knowledgeable in applicable computer software
- Ability to travel with short notice up to 50% of the time
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (do not test for THC / marijuana)
Compensation Range:
$115,000- $130,000
U.S. Venture's compensation range is specific to location and takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
U.S. Venture requires that a team member have and maintain authorization to work in the country in which the role is based. In general, U.S. Venture does not sponsor candidates for nonimmigrant visas or permanent residency unless based on business need.
