Bridge Specialty Group, a division of Brown & Brown Insurance, has an immediate need for a Regional Operations Leader to join our team in Dallas. Working with Bridge Specialty Group (BSG), COO and South-Central Regional Leader (RL), the Regional Operations Leader will be responsible for the overall development, function, and implementation of operational excellence in the region and BSG.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Drive profitable growth through process standardization and optimization, strategic outsourcing, operational cost optimization, new operating models and other operational levers
Identify and lead implementation of backroom setup / consolidation opportunities that create scale and operational efficiencies leading to higher quality of service and lower cost. Quantify and capture all such margin improvement opportunities.
Oversee creation of effective and efficient standard operating procedures (SOPs). Standardized training and workflows should prevent gaps in quality and knowledge of product, resulting in increased productivity. Develop and lead communications and plans to implement change.
Understand, assess, and analyze office / team / project budgets to find ways to reduce operational expenses and optimize profits.
Lead and champion execution associated with operations and technology related projects
Represent office / region / segment by advocating the business cases and acting as the business representative to the technology team.
Deeply understand the IT projects, roadmap and vision and help implement the roadmap in office / region / segment.
Ensure delivery and capture of the value in the region through technology projects.
Lead the improvement in key service levels – internal (teammates) and external (carriers and customers) – related to timeliness and quality of service, operational audits etc.
Lead identification and implementation of key performance indicators (KPIs) such as quality, timeliness, cost, etc. and be accountable to drive execution against established benchmarks.
Drive audit improvements by collaborating with audit teammates and professionals (internal and external, as needed).
Reduce error rates and rework rates in the operational workflows.
Enable BSG to become a data riven organization
Develop a deep understanding of the Data Analytics vision and execution plan
Champion the implementation, training, communication, and adoption of various aspects of data execution plan in collaborating with D&A leader.
Own the business and functional requirements and help prioritize the requests from the office / region / segment.
Help measure effectiveness of tools in the field by monitoring and reporting on key metrics.
Act as the conduit to the organization on all operational topics
Point person for operational topics such as audit, leases, etc., and partner with B&B as well as other sister divisions on variety of topics.
Communicate with leadership and teammates about progress on divisional priorities and projects.
Carry out / support CSAs as needed and be the point person for the compliance topics as needed.
Attract, develop, and retain talent
Identify and recruit operations talent.
Mentor and guide team members to maximize their full potential. Be knowledgeable of Operations teammate’s career path and provide necessary resources and training options to support them in reaching their goal.
Increase job satisfaction for the teammates leading to higher retention.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

Proficient with MS Office.

Five or more years’ experience in a similar position, with a focus on successful change to align business with future needs/direction.

Flexibility to travel as needed (up to 25%) – position requires periodic travel which may require the teammate to drive his/her own vehicle or a rental vehicle. Acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and periodically thereafter, and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages are a requirement of this position.
